What is Acclaim accreditation?
Acclaim is a health and safety accreditation scheme recognised under SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement). Like CHAS or SMAS, it lets you show clients and main contractors that your health and safety arrangements have been independently assessed.
Who asks for Acclaim?
Some main contractors, housing associations and public-sector buyers name Acclaim specifically in their tender requirements. Because it is SSIP-recognised, it is also accepted by many buyers who ask for 'an SSIP accreditation' without naming a scheme.
What evidence will I need?
Typically your health and safety policy, risk assessments and method statements, COSHH assessments, training records and insurance details. We help you identify what you already have and fill the gaps before anything is submitted.
